PREMIUM HAWAIIAN FIRST CLASS GET AWAY

5 of 5
There are absolutely no words to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the honor of staying in this perfectly appointed, well equipped heavenly home. From the ocean view, cool tropical breeze, glass enclosed paradise this is by far the best house we have stayed in the past 35 years visiting Hawaii! We never thought we could compare a rental home to the "Four Seasons Resort" but this home exceeds our expectations. This home has everything anyone would desire. We felt that our stay was paradise. We will tell tell all of our friends and hope that they will have the same experience that we have shared. This has been a dream vacation with memories galore and we thank you Cheryl and Melinda from the bottom of our hearts for hosting us in Kona Paradise. GREAT SOUTH KONA LOCATION!

4 of 5
This was our first trip to Kona and we were very glad we stayed in this home. The location was great for us. The drive down & up the property made for fun entertainment every time, the views were awesome & the landscape breathtaking. Cute & quiet neighborhood and private beach about 5-10 walk from house or minute drive down. The owners have thought of everything you would need during your stay, from beach towels, umbrellas, and coolers down to a water jug to bring along for fresh water rinsing while you are out! We hung out to watch the sunset everyday and was able to leave the doors open to the lanai all night since it was fully screened (brilliant!). They really did a great job on this house and it is a great get away from it all.

OUR SECOND STAY AT HALE MELE KOHOLA

5 of 5
Returning with our grown children a year after our first stay was a delight. I "echo" the previous reviewers superlatives. The view from the deck is wonderful and the home interior is tastefully done and comfortable. Take a walk on the "Kings Highway" trail south of the beach if you want exercise, grand views and solitude (wear tennis shoes!). We were lucky to see a dozen spinner dolphins when we snorkeled in the bay next to Place of Refuge. This bay also has amazing coral heads and plentiful fish. There is a wonderful, non profit, botanical garden between Place of Refuge and Kealakekua Bay called Paleaku Gardens Peace Sanctuary that is worth visiting. Thank you for the coffee, fruit and a wonderful stay!
