Oasis in paradise

5 of 5
Dave and Sally's home is an oasis in tropical paradise. The 3 bedrooms have large patio doors that let in cooling breezes, and lead out to the pool and hot tub, and lanai. These areas all look out to the Pacific Ocean. The view is 180 degrees, unobstructed. No other houses can be seen when you are on the lanai! Fantastic sunsets! While enjoying meals on the lanai, enjoy the view, the tropical birds, and the lush vegetation. The house is designed with natural air conditioning, with patio doors on both sides, to allow air flow. The back lanai has a fountain that the birds like, too. The kitchen is well stocked, the linens nice, and beds comfie. The house is well located for exploring Hawaii, and quite close to some really good snorkeling areas. This is our fourth Hawaiian island to visit, and the most diverse. From the observatories on Mauna Kea to the lava fields of Kileaua, the surfers to the coffee farms, the charm of Hawi and Hilo to the action at Kailua, great golfing options and beautiful botanical gardens, zip lines and boat cruises.....the Big Island has it all!

Beautiful home. Spectacular views, sunsets, stars!

Loved our stay. Everything was just as described. It was perfect space for two, although you could fit more. Great central location for us as we went everywhere from Hawaii Volcanoes NP to Kohala Coast. Be prepared for traffic when you head up Kailua-Kona way; it takes a little while. But we loved having such a secluded comfortable place to come home to each day. Favorite close by-spots: Oven and Butter Artisan Bakery and Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park (the Place of Refuge). Highly recommend. (And, yes we saw the hawk.)

Blown away... would live happily ever after here.

5 of 5
My entire group of five agreed that we would happily live in this house for the rest of our lives. It was definitely more luxury living than we expected. The view was *incredible*, the house was equipped with everything we need, and the kitchen was great for making dinners and breakfasts together as a group. It had the basics for cooking supplies, like cooking oils, pans, cutting boards, silverware, etc. We also loved that the house came with boogie boards, floaty noodles, and snorkling gear. We had a jaw dropping snorkling experience, and we couldn't believe that it was free since we got to use the gear from the house. Tina had very fast responses throughout the process and was great to deal with. I am so happy we picked this house... I can't imagine anyone being disappointed in it.
