Kailua vacation

5 of 5
Nice place. Great location - close enough to the activities without being down in all the crowds on Ali'i drive. Nice quiet residential neighborhood. Henry and Maryusa were great hosts - there when you needed something and helpful with suggested activities. The place is bigger than your typical 1 bedroom rental and was completely stocked with kitchen appliances/tools and extra towels & linens. Would definitely return for another stay.

Clean, great price, and awesome location

4 of 5
We had a wonderful time at the Artsy Rainforest Hideaway. There was plenty of room for two adults and two kids (kids slept on futon and couch they are 7 and 10). The place was very clean. Children LOVED the large screen TV, lights in the bathroom, and ducks/chickens on the property. The location was perfect. Central to Kapoho tidepools, volcano, hilo, etc. Was nice that we didn't have to "break the bank" to stay on the east side of the island nor drive back to Waikoloa where we live. We will for sure come back to stay. Dan was such a nice, friendly, mellow guy.

Hilo's Best Kept Secret!

5 of 5
This bungalow is a wonderful place to stay in HIlo's cool uplands. It is located in an established older neighborhood and is set back in landscaped gardens that can be seen from the bungalow's large picture window bringing the Big Island's upland forests inside. Having been raised on the Big Island, but now living on the highly populated island of Oahu, I so appreciated relaxing in this bungalow and feeling like I returned home! I would stay here over any other high-end resort or condo anywhere else on the Big Island. The craftsmanship and decor are exquisite and the bungalow is extremely comfortable! Sherron and David were very responsive to everything we needed, yet the bungalow is equipped with everything anyone could need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. My husband and I are already trying to figure out when we can return, and I'm absolutely recommending this rental to my large extended family and all our friends!
