Amazing!

5 of 5
We have just got back from two weeks at Villa Amarillo. What can I say? It was an absolutely fantastic villa and the perfect location from which to explore Grenada. There are two bars within walking distance and you can organise sailing, snorkeling or scuba trips and spa treatments from True Blue which is probably a 5 minute walk from the Villa. There are also numerous picture perfect Caribbean beaches within a 10 / 15 minute drive. (You do need your own car here but driving around is easy). The villa was large and spacious and had loads of different areas we could hang out depending on our mood and the time of the day. We went as a group of 6 adults and felt we had loads of space all the time. The bedrooms were all a good size and had a/c and comfy beds and the kitchen was well equipped. The photos don't really do the rooms justice. However, the BEST thing about the Villa was Miss Maureen! What an absolute star. She was so friendly and helpful yet gave us our space and would materialise from nowhere when there was anything to be done. Her cooking was great and gave us a real taste of home cooked Caribbean food whilst the villa was always clean and tidy. Anna was so welcoming when we first arrived which gave us a great feeling from our first moment at the villa. She then left us to it but was very quick to reply to any emails when we had the odd query. We also have an excellent list of potential baby names courtesy of Anna! All in all the perfect villa owner. Sam Dick

Modern Luxury in Grenada!!

4 of 5
The photos on the website dont do this Villa (mansion!!) justice!! Set on the end of a peninsula with 180% degree views over the sea and enjoying a refreshing sea breeze; the house more than met our expectations!! The 40ft infinity pool allowed for proper swimming and the outside patio area was big enough for 3 families to easily find peace and quiet; never felt crowded. The house itself feels very modern and clean and has a huge central atrium hung with giant chandeliers. The kitchen and lounge have bifold doors which allow the whole house to open up to the outside creating a fantastic indoor /outdoor living area. All 5 bedrooms are large with beautiful ensuite bathrooms and aircon; 3 with large terraces overlooking the sea. the house is situated in the most up market area of St George and allows for easy access (5 mins) to all the local beaches and restaurants. Anne, the daily maid, was very thorough and friendly and John (the handyman/chef) prepared some great lobster meals for us!!! the big difference compared to other Caribbean islands for us was how safe we felt and how friendly the people were!! We will definately be visiting again!!

Beyond Wonderful!

5 of 5
Our family spent 10 days in July at spectacular Tivigny House -- and we agree that this villa is above and beyond wonderful! We were impressed immediately upon arrival: fresh tropical flowers, the house and pool beautifully illuminated, even coloring books and crayons for our 4-year old and 6-year old children! This attention to detail and comfort enhanced the beauty of Tivigny. The house is spotless, and thoughtful details like local spice soaps and flowers in each bathroom made our family feel indulgent indeed! The design of the house brings the outdoors in and we loved this! Views from literally every room in the house. Tivigny strikes the perfect balance of being spacious, yet comfortable, with lots of spots to find privacy or to congregate with larger groups. Mark and Liz warmly welcomed us and provided for all our needs, including an additional children's life vest, so that we could fully relax and enjoy our vacation. We sensed that they truly cared that we have a trouble-free and fabulous vacation. It's not often that the owner of a villa is on hand, but we found that to be especially nice when travelling out of country with small kids. We felt we needn't worry about a thing! There is so much more to say... Choosing Tivigny House is the right choice!
