Absolutely Stunning Views!

5 of 5
Our family of four just returned home from Frangipani Villa in Carriacou where we spent Christmas this year. We loved everything about our experience, starting from the first phone call with Corine Milne, the owner. Corinne's hospitality even extended to decorating the villa with Christmas lights on the deck for the kids, as well as subtle little Noel and reindeer items throughout the house. Corine even went our and bought beach toys for the kids as well and arranged a trip for us to Sandy Beach one day with her friends Gary and Alex at Deefer Diving. The villa is pristine throughout, with sweeping views from every vantage point. We LOVED the island, the people, the beaches, and even those bumpy country roads. What a discovery. Anse La Roche and Tobago Marine Caye are a MUST for day trips. Thank you Corine, and Down Island with Shirley and Linkie who met us at the ferry and welcomed us to the villa. I hope we will return to your very special home one day! Jane Dobisz

Where do I begin? From the moment we decided to stay at the Villa Amarillo to our departure, was an awesome 5 star experience! We were greeted at the airport by Shawn and then greeted at the Villa by Anna (the owner) and Ms. Maureen. A delicious dinner and wine awaited us. Anna is the perfect host. During our stay, we invited Anna over for an evening drink and conversation - she is like a new friend! She answers emails promptly and sometimes even anticipates your questions. The Villa itself is true to the pictures and more. It is very well maintained and spotless! We went with our family of 5 (three university adult children). Each of our kids had their own room with a/c and ensuite bathroom. There is so much room in this villa to spread out and you can enjoy a view from every sitting area. You can be together but there is enough room to be separate if you want. Ms. Maureen is a gem! She is so efficient and so accommodating to any need that you might have. She even did our personal laundry - what a treat for me! The Villa is near to everything. We could walk to True Blue Bay resort or drive to Grand Anse beach - we did rent a car for our vacation (which Anna arranged for us). We did it all from snorkelling (Eco-Dive), to scuba diving (Eco-Dive), to kayaking (Conservation Kayak), to visiting a Rum distillery, to beaching at La Sagesse beach, to hiking Concord Falls, to touring the west coast up to Grenville, to deep sea fishing with Gary. Anna also arranged for us to tour St. George's University Veterinarian School since our oldest daughter is studying to be a vet in the US. In between all our activity there was lots of time to lounge around the villa pool or just enjoy happy hour on the veranda. Some good restaurants - the Beach House, the Aquarium and Umbrellas. Grenada is a beautiful and safe island to visit! Thank-you Anna for making Christmas and New Years 2014 a memorable one! Until we meet again......maybe in my rental home. Karen

Modern Luxury in Grenada!!

4 of 5
The photos on the website dont do this Villa (mansion!!) justice!! Set on the end of a peninsula with 180% degree views over the sea and enjoying a refreshing sea breeze; the house more than met our expectations!! The 40ft infinity pool allowed for proper swimming and the outside patio area was big enough for 3 families to easily find peace and quiet; never felt crowded. The house itself feels very modern and clean and has a huge central atrium hung with giant chandeliers. The kitchen and lounge have bifold doors which allow the whole house to open up to the outside creating a fantastic indoor /outdoor living area. All 5 bedrooms are large with beautiful ensuite bathrooms and aircon; 3 with large terraces overlooking the sea. the house is situated in the most up market area of St George and allows for easy access (5 mins) to all the local beaches and restaurants. Anne, the daily maid, was very thorough and friendly and John (the handyman/chef) prepared some great lobster meals for us!!! the big difference compared to other Caribbean islands for us was how safe we felt and how friendly the people were!! We will definately be visiting again!!
