Sublime

5 of 5
Apologies for writing this late review, but we were looking through our trip slide show last night, and felt that we had to let everyone know just how special this villa is. My husband and I have been to Santorini before, so we knew to expect the jaw-dropping views. Even so, this villa had us wandering from room to room and terrace to terrace saying, "Can you believe we get to stay here for a whole week?" Vanda was very helpful in arranging our airport transfers, and in reviewing a local map with us and tailoring her suggestions to fit our interests. She is a charming and knowledgeable hostess. The master bedroom is really a complete master suite with it's own bedroom, living room, and bathroom.(Huge new walk-in shower made to look as if it is carved out of the hillside.) The decor is as pictured. Everything was in good repair and beautiful. One of the bedrooms is actually a separate studio accessed by external stairs. (But within the Villa's property) It has it's own spectacular terrace, and it's own small bathroom with a mini-fridge in the room. This was the beloved refuge of the teenaged boys we had with us. In the main portion of the villa, there is a central barrel vaulted living room and a third private bedroom located just off the living room. The small plunge-pool is only the size of a large jacuzzi. The water is hip deep for an adult woman. But standing in the pool looking out over the caldera is one of life's great moments. We were there in July when it was quite hot, and we never needed to turn on the air-conditioner in the main part of the villa because a peculiarity of houses built back into the hillside, (Cave style),is that they stay cool year around. The boys did need to turn on the air conditioner in the studio in the late afternoons, but when they did, it worked well. I would recommend this villa to any friend or relative of mine. The whole process of renting it was handled professionally and all my email questions were answered promptly. The owner, Susan, loves the house, and she seems delighted to share it with guests.

Wonderful villa

5 of 5
We travelled to Santorini and had booked to stay at villa Kisiris as the listing told us that it was a wonderful location and ample room for our family. Well it proved to be exactly as advertised. We arrived to celebrate our niece's wedding and had a family gathering at the villa. There were 8 of us staying at the villa and we had ample room. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom so there was no problem with waiting for the shower!!!! The villa also provided clean linen and beach towels. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi which we had the heat turned off and used it as a splash pool while enjoying the view and some wonderful Santorini wine. The villa was wonderful for entertaining and we had fun having our pre wedding dinners and get togethers with family and friends. Mariana was a gem and guided us and helped us with any questions or concerns we had. Tatiana was wonderful with getting the villa cleaned and sorted out and at the same time never seemed to be in our way. We would recommend this villa for its wonderful position and many great restaurant in close proximity. Thank you villa Kisiris.
