Idyllic location, crystal clear waters.

5 of 5
The apartment is beautifully decorated and it gives you a home-like feeling. The best of all though, is the breathtaking view of the sea from the balcony. You don't feel the need to go out. You just want to stay there and enjoy what you see. I loved the beach! During my stay, the sea has never been rough probably because of the small island opposite the beach which protects it from the bad weather. The beach is sandy and the water deepens slowly which is great for those of us who are not skillful swimmers. The waters were blue, warm and crystal clear. Beautiful seashells at the bottom of the sea! I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Simply perfect

5 of 5
We(family of 5) stayed for three consecutive years in villa Scorpio and the next August will be our fourth. We like absolutely everything: The hospitality of Konstantions always waiting for us no matter the time we come. The local cheese, tomatoes, bread and white vine waiting for us in the fridge. The clean villa and the pool. The rooms and the sea that is 10 meters away from the villa. You can see the photos and the reality is exactly the same. What you can't see is how tranquil and peaceful that place and the villages near by are. The nice people living there and the small shops, bakeries etc.

Beautiful, Quiet spot with great Beach and History

5 of 5
It is a wonderful location right on the shore of the Aegean sea, just over half an hour from the airport and Athens. It is very quiet and relaxing spot, however, if you are looking for the nightlife, beautiful Athens are a short drive away. The house is modern, comfortable, and meticulously maintained. It has a great pool if you want to cool off in the afternoon or take a night swim. There is an AC, a kitchen, a laundry, several bathrooms-so we had everything that we needed. There are numerous places to eat all around and the food is great and inexpensive. The owner and the managers of the property are great people-warm, friendly and very helpful. They guided us through our stay, so we saw and tried a lot of things that I am certain we would never experience if we were on our own. I am a big fan of history so living a mile away and walking every day on the actual site of Marathon battle was a big thrill. In general walking on the stones of Acropolis, Ancient Agora, Mycenae, Corinth feels surreal and awe inspiring. If you like to swim, there is a rocky cove about 100 yards away which is great for snorkeling, or there is a great "wild" sandy beach about 2 miles away, or fully blown beach club with bars and umbrellas etc. The food and wine are awesome-my wife and I are pretty picky, yet every single meal during our stay-we cleaned the plates-finger licking good. I would recommend renting a car, parking is not an issue and with GPS on my iPhone we didn't have any trouble getting around. The cars with manual transmission are readily available, if you need an automatic-the property manager put us in touch with a company that provided a luxury sedan with all the bells and whistles, they greeted us at the airport during arrival and departure. One recommendation that I would make is to bring cash with you-the gas stations do take credit cards, but a lot of other places prefer cash transactions. In conclusion-it was a wonderful place to stay, I would highly recommend it and we are planning our next stay at the same spot already.
