We stayed at Aris's apartment for two weeks in April, 2015. It was extremely comfortable and convenient for our family of 6 people.
Communication with Alexandros (who has been managing this property recently) was prompt, clear, and attentive. Due to a planning snafu on our side, we arrived in Athens 4 days earlier than originally planned and were very grateful that Alexandros responded to us so quickly with the positive news that we could check in early.
The kitchen was one of the best-stocked ones we've seen in over six months of Round The World travel. Paired with convenient grocery stores, bakeries and fruit markets, we were able to cook for ourselves without any challenges. Had the weather been better, we would have loved eating on the roof-top terrace. Having 2.5 bathrooms, too, was extremely useful for our large group. VERY nice to have 3 real beds, although we did have to put one of our teenage boys on the couch, as a double was too small for the two of them.
This apartment is large by European standards. Even with 6 people, we all found some space for ourselves. We were able to unpack and spread out a little. The entertainment center was chock-a-block full of content (books and movies). We enjoyed ourselves watching Harry Potter in Greek (even though we don't speak Greek, and even though there were lots of English language movies to choose from). We also did laundry. Though there is no dryer, there are lots of drying racks that are easy to set up.
All the amenities combined made our stay in Athens quite home-like.
It cannot be overstated how conveniently located this apartment is. We walked *everywhere* and saw everything we wanted to see. For some sightseeing we did need to take the Metro, which is also very close. Hint: if you are staying for some time in Athens, buy the multi-day metro pass, it's worth it at 10 Euro for 5 days.
We appreciated the direct-line contact with Spyros, the taxi driver, who took care of us the first several days we were in Athens, including driving us up to Delphi with several additional stops of interest. Spyros also immediately took care of the two issues we encountered with the plumbing. (Note for future travelers: there's a reason there are small trash-cans right near the toilets in Greece ... they're for your toilet paper which can't be flushed.)
If you are traveling with a group, this apartment cannot be beat.
