A relaxing city break

5 of 5
Exactly as described, fully equiped, there was even shampoo and some food in the cupboards in the kitchen when i arrived wich was really appreciable after a long journey. The appartment was very clean and as i was traveling alone it was quite roomy. it' s 5min away from the bus stop and 8min to the metro/tram station,so it's easy to reach the main places in Athens as well as the beaches, supermakets are a short walk away. I enjoyed my city break.

We were delighted with this apartment.

This is a great apartment for anyone who needs to be in the heart of Athens. The walk to the Metro is only about 5 minutes. The walk to the bus station to take you on day excursions is even shorter! You pass it on the way to the Metro. We were able to board here for a trip we took to Marathon, for example. Buses stop very close by - a 1 minute walk or less- to take you to the Major grocery stores, banks and restaurants. But no need to go so far if you need groceries because a very short block away will take you to a family operated store where you will find everything from coffee and bottled water to cheeses and meats. Across the street from this little store you will find an amazing bakery! So many delicious treats, so little time! The apartment itself is lovely! From the toaster to the washing machine, every single appliance is new. We slept on beautiful, crisp sheets, and comfortable beds in this apartment. It is newly decorated with soothing colors and so much light from sliding doors in every room. We liked the light and the view from the front balcony especially. Unlike many places around town, here the view is of green trees and the statue of Athena. Being in a place that overlooks a park through lovely new sliding doors is relaxing and refreshing after a long day. We also appreciated the internet connection since my husband had to work on a project while we were away and there was no need to leave the house so he could do this. We are very glad we stayed in this apartment and if we find ourselves in Athens again next year, we would definitely stay here again. It had everything we needed for our three week stay!
