Nice weekend getaway!

5 of 5
I have stayed at this property a few times over the years, usually on a weekend. The area is always nice to visit. The house is far away from the road, and it is surrounded by trees on a couple of sides. It's a very quiet place to stay and get away from all of the noise in a city. The screened in porch overlooks a view of the front yard. Inside is a living room with beautifully built custom furniture that matches the rest of the woodwork in the room. The house has a lot of unique decorations, with each room being themed. Having a jetted tub was nice. Callaway Gardens is only 5-10 minutes away, and downtown Pine Mountain is just a little farther. The road in front of the house is a great place to go for a bike ride, since it has relatively low traffic (as well as most of the area).

Julie, thank you so much for sharing this rustic adorable cabin with us...the view of lake was gorgeous and it was so quiet and tranquil ...I loved the porch and being able to just sit and relax was priceless...The restaurants you recommended were amazing as well..we had an awesome time and can't wait to return..Thank you again for making us feel at home and so welcomed. .

We had a wonderful time.

5 of 5
We knew what to expect when we arrived since the property photo were very accurate. The property was well maintained and had everything we needed to prepare our meals, when we did not use the local dining which was great. We loved the outdoor woodsy feel, and the log cabin effect. The only thing was I would have liked to have a place to do laundry either in the property or in town, was almost 25 minutes to go to the laundry mat. This unit had a small incline to get into the unit so it would not be well suited for someone with difficulty walking. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative.
