Birthday gathering

5 of 5
This house offered the precise arrangement of bedrooms, baths, kitchen facilities and living areas my family was looking for. Three generations gathered to celebrate a family birthday with a lot of cooking involved. Having 2 very spacious kitchens made preparation so much easier and the screen porch dining adjacent to the indoor dining accommodated everyone. The two living room areas that could be separated with doors , along with the gallery porch where the breezes were delightful met our needs for privacy and togetherness. Bedrooms were spacious and the way some rooms had additional beds fit our age and family requirements perfectly. Also the location of the house was ideal for exploring Savannah.

PERFECT house for our group!

5 of 5
I'm not sure why this doesn't have reviews yet, but can say that our experience was "over-the-top" wonderful! The pictures don't do it justice and it was great to be able to contact Walt for last minute questions after arrival. The location was perfect (right on the finish line for our marathon/half on Saturday) but would be great for anyone who wanted to be in the Forsyth Park area. We loved Sentient Bean (coffee shop) that was close by--both coffee and food were excellent! Kroger was also within walking distance (several blocks). Due to the race, parking was limited in the city. We were thankful for free parking at the house! Once parked, we only had to drive to get to Tybee...everything else was less than a two mile walk. The house was GORGEOUS, large rooms, huge well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds/furniture, CLEAN, and the outdoor patio areas around the pool were extensive with lots of seating! We had running friends over for a post-race meal and there were plenty of places for everyone to sit to eat. The pool was beautiful and provided a great place for a post-race COLD dip to soothe muscles! The day after the race, we all set off in different directions to see the city and it was such a convenient place to start our walking tour! You can't go wrong with this choice!
