LOVED THIS PLACE!! My husband and I went down to move our daughter from her dorm into her apartment -- this place was perfect as we had a trailer full of stuff. Quiet, secluded, and safe to park the trailer for several days. When you first turn into the driveway you wonder what you are driving into but then you clear the trees and before you lays a beautiful estate that reminds you of a Southern Plantation. There is plenty of space to park and it is easy to get to the cottage as RJ has motion lights to pop on and guide your way. RJ and Bruce were absolutely wonderful hosts and it was a pleasure to meet them plus the others they had staying there as they also operate a small B&B (all the guests gathered for dinner one night courtesy of RJ who makes an excellent pot roast). You can tell that RJ really cares not only about her property but also about her guests -- we had told her we would be arriving late as the drive is long---but we didn't get on the road until later than we wanted. As RJ expected us earlier than when we actually arrived (planned to be there by 10pm and instead finally reached it at 2am), she gave us a call while we were on the road to make sure we were okay. Really meant a lot to us--plus the added note that she would have the phone by her bed in case we got lost was even more appreciated. Place was clean, comfortable, never heard anything louder than birds chirping---had to listen hard to hear the rooster or chickens (and the baby chicks were adorable). When not packing up our daughter we were able to just relax and enjoy the quiet. Cottage is just the right size for a couple or small family. It is a short drive to downtown but totally worth being away from all of the traffic and noise. We will definitely be hooking up with RJ when we head back to Savannah to visit our daughter---and even after she is out of college as Savannah is truly a beautiful city.
