Great stay just what we wanted.

4 of 5
Wanted to visit downtown Savannah but did not want to pay for a over price hotel that we would only be sleeping in. Found this rental and love it. It was a surprise anniversary weekend for my wife. I was hoping that she would like the place and she love it. It was truly our home away from home. David meet us at the house and show up around and was very nice. This was a duplex but the neighbors did not bother us at all. This was an older house but they did a great job remodeling the inside. The inside of the house was great and roomie to say it was one bed and one bath. It had a stack washer and dryer. The living room had a nice flat screen TV and dish network. At nights we used the TV and DVD player to watch DVD from Redbox which we got from Kroger's which was walking distance from the house. Nice couch with a pull out but we did not use the pull out. The living room also had an electric fire place. The house also had WiFi which was good for our tablets as we look up places to go in Savannah. The bath room was very cool with a bowl counter top sink and the jacuzzi tub on the inside was very nice. The kitchen has new appliances including stove, fridge and microwave. Dishes, glasses, plate and utensil where provided. Even wine glasses! The back porch had tables and chair and over hang, it was very nice in the evening as the sun went down to sit and relax. The pool and outdoor area was very nice and block off by private fencing. Parking was ok there was parking on the street in front and also had a grass lot in the back. We enjoy our stay here and if we are ever back in Savannah I will make sure to try to rent this place again.

Wonderful Condo in Beautiful Savannah

5 of 5
My husband and I travelled to Savannah for a wedding in mid July. We stayed for a long weekend at the condo on Gwinnett. The condo had every amenity needed for a getaway rental. Parking was always available in front of the condo. The pool was nice and clean, and very refreshIng on those hot days in July. The condo is within walking distance to most of the sites of the historical district. Forsyth park is only a few blocks away, and it was about a 20-25 minute walk to the river. Even though the condo isn't in the heart of everything, it was nice to getaway from the hustle and bustle, and return to a quiet area to relax. Another postive attribute of the condo's location, is that there is a Kroger's and a Family Dollar located just a couple blocks away, which was especially nice. All in all, my husband and I had a wonderful stay in Savannah, and would most definitely recommend this condo!

Home away from home

5 of 5
LOVED THIS PLACE!! My husband and I went down to move our daughter from her dorm into her apartment -- this place was perfect as we had a trailer full of stuff. Quiet, secluded, and safe to park the trailer for several days. When you first turn into the driveway you wonder what you are driving into but then you clear the trees and before you lays a beautiful estate that reminds you of a Southern Plantation. There is plenty of space to park and it is easy to get to the cottage as RJ has motion lights to pop on and guide your way. RJ and Bruce were absolutely wonderful hosts and it was a pleasure to meet them plus the others they had staying there as they also operate a small B&B (all the guests gathered for dinner one night courtesy of RJ who makes an excellent pot roast). You can tell that RJ really cares not only about her property but also about her guests -- we had told her we would be arriving late as the drive is long---but we didn't get on the road until later than we wanted. As RJ expected us earlier than when we actually arrived (planned to be there by 10pm and instead finally reached it at 2am), she gave us a call while we were on the road to make sure we were okay. Really meant a lot to us--plus the added note that she would have the phone by her bed in case we got lost was even more appreciated. Place was clean, comfortable, never heard anything louder than birds chirping---had to listen hard to hear the rooster or chickens (and the baby chicks were adorable). When not packing up our daughter we were able to just relax and enjoy the quiet. Cottage is just the right size for a couple or small family. It is a short drive to downtown but totally worth being away from all of the traffic and noise. We will definitely be hooking up with RJ when we head back to Savannah to visit our daughter---and even after she is out of college as Savannah is truly a beautiful city.
