Girls Weekend

5 of 5
Fabulous home. Beautifully appointed. Owners went out of their way to make us feels that this was home away from home. Couldn't ask for a nicer place. Great, walkable location to everything. Only one very minor complaint....I'm guessing the dishwasher doesn't work so great as every dish or pan used needed to be washed first due to stuck on food. Everything else was clean.

Really enjoyed our stay

5 of 5
We stayed in this very nicely decorated townhouse with two families and a total of 11. Its very comfortable for a group this size. Two of the older boys slept on the fold out couches in the pool room. The elevator was very helpful for running luggage and groceries up to the kitchen on the 3rd floor. This house is in a terrific location to watch ships come up the Savannah River and a short walk over a wooden bridge crossing the turtle pond leads to the beach. The lighthouse and North Beach Bar & Grill - a walk up beach bar with surprisingly good seafood - are within 3 blocks. The house is close enough to Savannah that we went every day, but we enjoyed biking, kayaking, deep sea fishing, jet skiing and many restaurants within two miles on Tybee Island. The only reason that you have to go into town is to find larger food stores (Kroger) and enjoy the beautiful walk from Forsyth Park through Savannah's many squares on Bull Street as you walk to the River. We will be back! Our only objection was that the local management company presented us with a contract with many new T&Cs at check-in, even though we had paid the rent in full in advance. The owners should have them present the contract at the time payment is due.

Fabulous Girl's Weekend!

5 of 5
Three of us came for an art teacher's conference, the 4th for relaxation. The conference was being held at the King & Prince resort. We were looking for something less expensive and more comfortable and we found it with Judy's lovely home. We couldn't have been happier with this home. We especially appreciated the elevator! It made our life so much easier. The owner's attention to detail is wonderful. We were all very comfortable and were able to spread out without feeling crowded. You can feel the ocean breeze from the from the many decks and front porch. And it's a quick walk to the public beach access. My little dog Lucy loved the beach and we took frequent walks around the neighborhood. Massengale Park, just down the street, is a wonderful place to access the beach also. Our favorite restaurant was Igauana's where we had fabulous meals and service. You can't beat Palmer's Village Cafe for breakfast! And Barbara Jean's has delicious crab cakes. We finished our evening last night at Ziggy Mahoney's. Great for an "older crowd" until around 10, when the "young people's music" starts. Keegan, the owner, is a delight and made us feel most welcome. We will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.
