Definitely a Home Away From Home

5 of 5
This was definitely a home away from home. I couldn't have had a better experience. Everything was there to accommodate us. The only thing we needed to bring was ourselves (and of course our soap and other basic toiletries) and some food. They had towels, sheets, pots and pans, washer and dryer. To be able to cook at the house is so much better than going out. That makes it so much easier to plan for packing and gets rid of a lot of hassle. The home even had a fenced in back yard for my fur babies, which they loved. Altogether we had 5 people in the house, and it accommodated us just fine. The home is close to a boat launch and Big Jim's restaurant which is ideal for duck hunters and fisherman. The homeowners were awesome and very hospitable. We are already pre-planning our next stay.

R & R at Lake Seminole

5 of 5
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Lake Seminole. The extra touches that Julie added to help us celebrate our 61st wedding anniversary were very unexpected and much appreciated. We had a nice relaxing week with fishing, sightseeing and eating out. The migratory birds were just beginning to arrive on the lake and we wanted to stay for them but it was back to the mountains for us. We look forward to visiting again.

A week in Paradise!

5 of 5
Whether you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway with beautiful scenery, or the ultimate fishing cabin, This is the place!! Clean and comfortable cabin, everything you need to enjoy your stay. Great place for walking and enjoying the scenery or sitting on the dock and watching wildlife on the water, this place has it all. Big yard for kids or dog. For the anglers in the family, the two slip boat dock is perfect for keeping your boats out of inclement weather. You can launch your boat at Wingate's Lunker Lodge, less than a mile away. My sons, grandsons, and I, enjoyed this clean and peaceful home very much. It had all the ingredients to make this a WEEKS STAY IN PARADISE!!! Thanks Tom and Elvia for being such great hosts, See you next year!
