Despite weather...Great Time...Excellent Service...and Great fishing

5 of 5
My wife and I rented the chalet to get some time away and to spend some quality time with family and friends, both business and personal. First of all the owners, Mrs. Dottie and Mr. Richard were absolutely fabulous. from the first moment Mr. Richard found out I was coming to fish, I think he went down every morning and fished for a couple hours and would call or email me with a fishing report. They were there when we needed something and provided everything anyone would or could ever need on a vacation away from home. My wife and I chose to stay downstairs (so I could be closer to lake)(and so we could be closer to hottub). We all agreed that the beds were super comfortable, as well as all the furniture, the amenities were outstanding, and the fishing was super. Caught over 100 fish right from under dock over 3 day period and will definitely stay here again. We missed out on using the pontoon because of the cold and windy weather, but will save it for next time. I was able to have my own personal bass boat serviced at the marina around the corner, fueled up, and launched and at the house in less than 5 minutes. The house was very clean and organized, smelled fresh, and was a welcoming retreat from city life. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Toney for being gracious host...see ya soon. James and Tisha W.

Great Time!!!

This was, hands down, the best vacation spot for myself and the family this Thanksgiving. The home is beautiful and the view is equally as beautiful. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone!!

Delightfully surprised!

5 of 5
I was a little worried when I realized the property allowed smoking, but was delightfully surprised that it did not smell bad at all. The place was exactly as described. We enjoyed the dock and swimming area, caught a few fish, and used the house as a base camp for day trips to Atlanta (Coke USA/Aquarium) and Stone Mountain. The air conditioning worked great, as the temps were in the 90's. Nice shady areas in the yard and also plenty of sunshine too. Owner was very accomodating and easy to work with. Will hopefully return for a future stay. Would definitely recommend this for a quiet, beautiful retreat.
