3rd time rental!

5 of 5
This was our 3rd time renting this chalet in the past 6 years and can't wait to get back! The home is beautifully decorated, large but very cozy- pictures don't do it justice. The upstairs deck is the perfect place to rock with morning coffee. We love the included pontoon rental (which is why we keep coming back)- lake traffic is minimal during the week and easily navigated. The Lakeview Restaurant has recently been updated/renovated- easy boat ride and the Wing Depot is a short walk away for great food as well. The bedrooms are HUGE, beds are more than comfortable and there are plenty of towels for all bathrooms. HIGHLY recommend this home !! Thanks Dottie & Richard :)

Delightfully surprised!

5 of 5
I was a little worried when I realized the property allowed smoking, but was delightfully surprised that it did not smell bad at all. The place was exactly as described. We enjoyed the dock and swimming area, caught a few fish, and used the house as a base camp for day trips to Atlanta (Coke USA/Aquarium) and Stone Mountain. The air conditioning worked great, as the temps were in the 90's. Nice shady areas in the yard and also plenty of sunshine too. Owner was very accomodating and easy to work with. Will hopefully return for a future stay. Would definitely recommend this for a quiet, beautiful retreat.

Spring Break at Lake Jackson

5 of 5
The main floor of the house is handicap-accessible.Suction cup grab bars work well in the Master shower. Grade to boathouse fairly steep. Pontoon boat is great for mobility-impaired persons.Love the counter-heighth dining table and chairs. Everything is sparkling clean and the owners have one out of their way to see that the home is stocked with all the right amenities. Beautiful view of the lake and a very family-friendly house. A definite 10!
