perfect place for extended family

5 of 5
this place was perfect for us! we have 2 married sons with babies, and a single son. the 2ndmaster, another bedroom and bathand large area with kitchen and ping pong downstairs allowed everyone plenty of space. the large kitchen upstairs made it easy to fix meals and everyone to eat together. we love this area of the lake the best so it was a perfect fit for our family! the owner was wonderful to deal with and came right up the first night we were there and had a tremendous thunder storm and water came in on the bottom floor. he brought towels and fans, and called the next day to see how everything was going. we definitely will use this place again and highly recommend it!

Labor Day Weekend

5 of 5
A group of friends rented the house for Labor Day weekend this year. We had a great time and the house is amazing. We had 2 kids with us, age 6 and 3, and it was great having bedrooms on the lower level and the game room on the upper level on the other side of the house, so we didn't need to worry about waking up the kids. The walk to the dock is short and fairly easy, just some steps and different surfaces, like roots, you have to walk over. You can see the dock from the back of the house, so it's very close. The dock is large and in deep water. There was roughly 14-15 feet of water at the end of the dock. I brought my boat up and was able to tie up to the side of the dock with no trouble. Both of the slips are being used, so keep that in mind. The house was clean and well put together. Overall we had a great time and I would definitely recommend this house, especially if one of your main activities is getting out on the water.

Excellent place to stay!

5 of 5
It was our first time renting a property in GA. We wanted to have a family reunion including some close friends that we wanted to spend a week with! This place definitely WOW'd all our guest. We LOVED the elevator and it definitely came in handy. Cooked alot all week and the kitchen was awesome and was able to handle many cooks at once. Owner was great and responsive through out our stay. We had little questions at times. It was easy to rent a boat also on the lake. Great place to stay and would recommend to anyone. We also had many deer sightings which the kids loved.
