          BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING STAY!

          5 of 5
We loved our stay at Rich Mountain Retreat. We hope to be back soon! The decorations were lovely, and the house was newly renovated. The bed and couch were extremely comfortable, and there was an outdoor and indoor porch for resting and relaxing too. The books and horses added to the ambiance. The drive to town was not far. Ellijay had some cute shops and is also a good place for the outdoors. The price was great, and the owner was friendly and responsive to the questions we had. We did not want to leave...

          FIVE STAR CABIN

          5 of 5
The first thing that hits you when you walk into the “cabin” is that you’re home. The next thing is the fantastic vista you see through the huge windows – AWESOME! We had a sibling reunion the first weekend of May, and Heaven’s Peak was the perfect spot. There was ample room for everyone, and the cabin had everything we needed, from beer koozies to a crock pot, from bathrobes to fluffy towels. It was also spic and span clean, which was a big plus! Enough can’t be said for the view. There are two outside decks from which you can sit and see for miles. One morning my sister and her husband sat in the hot tub and watched the sun come up. She said it was magical! Larry was more than helpful, and answered any questions we had about the area and the cabin. He was very easy to deal with. He also made sure there was plenty of firewood for the outside fire pit, and also corn for feeding up the deer and other wildlife. We’re sorry to say we didn’t see any, but I blame that on us. I’m sure we were far too noisy! If anybody is looking for the perfect place for relaxation and connecting with family or friends, this is definitely the spot!
