Heaven's Window is exactly what it is!

We stayed here over memorial weekend and it was a wonderful weekend! The cabin was beautifully built. As excited as we were to stay there after seeing the pictures we were even more excited for what we saw in person! The view of the river from the large wrap around porch was amazing. My boyfriend and I, and my sister and her boyfriend spent the evenings grilling out, fishing in the river, playing cards and board games, and relaxing in the hot tub. The first day we were there we planned to go hiking but realized a lot of trails nearby with waterfalls did not allow swimming so we called John for suggestions on what to do. He was very helpful! He suggested that we go get tubes (5-10 dollars at Walmart) and float down the river from a bridge not far away right to the bank of the river in front of the cabin. It was a blast! It was about a mile drive from the house to the bridge and about a two hour float down the river. We only saw two other people fishing on the river the whole ride down and the river flows at an easy pace so it’s really enjoyable and easy to stop along the river when we felt like it. The last day we were there it was just me and my boyfriend, who loves to fish, so we packed a cooler, some towels and our fishing gear and walked to the middle of the river to get some sun and fish on the large rocks that are out there. Right behind the rocks was where we found the best fishing spot. You could see the fish as they went after the lure. There were a lot of them, but they were pretty small so we let them all go. I would highly suggest this cabin for a relaxing yet adventurous getaway! I hope to find another weekend soon to head back up!
