Time of my life!

5 of 5
After a visit to Savannah in March, I decided to rent a place for a longer period of time to really get to know the city. I discovered this location, and my initial communications with Mary were so positive that it was clear to me that I'd found a good person to lead me through my decision. We discovered the various properties she owns or manages, and landed on this one. I wanted the garage (versus parking on the street for 2 months) and I needed reliable wifi for my work. I was not disappointed. The carriage house is perfect, well laid out, comfortable bed, easy replenishing of supplies, it was a great decision. Kroger right next door for on demand food shopping, access to downtown (I'm a walker so I didn't mind a good stretch of the legs to get wherever I wanted to go). I only used my car for trips to Tybee Island (DO GO) and a couple of day trips to South Carolina (which is within a stones throw of Savannah.) I wanted to make this trip to rejuvenate my soul - and it was a big success. The joy I felt walking the streets, day after day - even the same streets - was similar to how I felt living in Paris, surrounded by beauty. I worked on a book, took a bazillion photos, joined the Savannah Yoga Center (highly recommended) and just took good care of myself. I'll definitely be back, and would gladly rent from Mary again. Calls or texts or emails were instantly returned. She's very responsive and is personally invested in you having a great time.

Great Location, Well Furnished House

5 of 5
When traveling to Savannah, you won't find a more comfortable and better located rental home. Kelly, the owner, was very helpful in making our stay as pleasant as possible. We were really impressed with the comfy furniture. There were tons of little touches that make all the difference - extra towels and pillows, a modern washer and dryer, a huge shower, and videos and games. It was easy to walk all the way to the river front and throughout town. There are also many great restaurants all within easy walking distance. We had a great time staying at the Lavinia Low House.

Girls trip

5 of 5
Unit is beautiful, location is wonderful! Great home for a girls get-away! A couple of comments: directions for key is not necessary, since the code gets you right in to the unit. Be sure you know the necessary position for the inside lock to assure the unit licks when you you leave. We had to call for directions. Also, we called three times about an ice maker that didn't work, and were told that it would not be fixed during out stay. We were directed to go buy ice. This was a little troubling, since we weren't sure where to go buy ice. Otherwise, we LOVED the property.
