Spectacular Property

5 of 5
Our family stayed at this property in July. It was very hot, but the pool really helped to cool us down. My husband and children wanted to fish a lot of the time, and if we were not fishing, we were chatting with Mr. Bob and Mrs. Eleanor, or we were riding the golf cart. The kids loved the zip line, but they said the most exciting part of the trip was meeting Mr. Bob and Mrs. Eleanor. The cabin was cozy, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The entire property is spectacular. We loved to ride the golf cart all over the grounds. This is truly a place to go, relax, and unwind. We were very sad to leave the property after seven days. We were somewhat anxious to get back home, as all wonderful vacations must come to an end, but we left a little piece of our hearts in south Georgia.

Perfect getaway home!

5 of 5
Firstly, the house itself is stunning. Taken right from Huckleberry Fin, the log cabin and river make this one of the most picturesque, tranquil places I have ever been in my life. A pleasant breeze is always around, the large patio is perfect for watching the sunset right over the river not 20 feet away, and the dock provides great access for swimming. Expect to be tucked pretty far away from civilization; rarely did we pass a car between the house and the center of Woodbine (and only sometimes saw someone in town). The owner was pleasant and helpful in preparing us for our stay, and getting into the house and locking up at the end was incredibly easy. Overall, the house didn't just allow us to have a great trip, but built our trip into so much more. Thanks again!!
