Perfection!

5 of 5
I go to Blue Ridge every month and have been for the past 3 years, so I've rented dozens of cabins. This one blows them all away. The view is amazing, and the craftsmanship of the cabin is a sight by itself. There was a glitch with the heat, but the owner was very responsive and got it fixed right away. The cabin is pet friendly, although you couldn't tell a pet had ever been there. Having Netflix on the loft tv was a great feature. Stop looking and pick this one. Just hurry and book it before I do.

Fall Visit

5 of 5
This is our second time staying and once again we enjoyed it all! The cabin was great and all the special things made it so much better. The view for the cabin was amazing.

Fabulous time!!!

5 of 5
We rented both the Grey Heron House and the Carriage house as well. We had a group of 14 the first night. It was such a great time!!! Cabins are close to Blue Ridge however it does take some time to find the place(first fork in the road is about 8/10 of a mile from the address given on Hogback road). The driveway to the Grey Heron house is somewhat steep and had to use the low gear to navigate back up. My only issue was the labeling of the trails. In my opinion, the "easy walking trail" should be labeled easy hiking trail. There is no way if the grandmother of the group came that she could have done this trail. It's fine for the kids but really it isn't a trail I would let them do alone. My kids are 12 and 11 and I didn't feel comfortable letting them roam the property by themselves down to the river. But other than that it was a great time. Well kept property.
