                      FAMILY VACATION

                      4 of 5
This beautiful cabin is very clean, comfortable and perfectly located for a family vacation. You feel very secluded, but are only about 5 minutes from Ingles grocery store and downtown Blue Ridge. I spent every morning on the deck with my coffee after what would have to be the best nights sleep I've EVER had on vacation and each evening out there with a drink watching the fire flies. However, if you are planning to fish and/or swim at the river on a regular basis - bring your hiking shoes! The river is a good 1/2 mile hike and has kind of a steep drop off to the water and trees right at the edge. Impossible for fly fishing and my grand daughter wasn't able to get in as planned (probably not all bad since the Toccoa is super cold!). The pond is very pretty and looked to have alot of fish, but the hike down to it was impossible for my husband who has a bad knee. That being said, we had a fabulous week - hiked several beautiful waterfalls, took our granddaughter over to Vogel State Park where they have a huge lake with a beach & paddle boats and visited the Mercier Orchard. I highly recommend this cabin and it's very friendly owners!

BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN VIEW, GREAT FOR FAMILIES

                      5 of 5
The Dreamer's Den cabin is beautifully furnished, and the owners have equipped it with just about everything one might need. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, and the hot tub was ready for us to jump in. The cabin was spacious and much more than we expected (this was our first Homeaway experience). We loved being able to sit on the screened middle and top balconies at any time of day. Having the screens and fans makes the outdoor space much more useable during the summer without having to worry about mosquitoes. We enjoyed morning coffee on the upper balcony while watching the clouds roll through the mountains, the scenic mountain views during the day, and watching the fire flies from the hot tub at night. We noted other nice cabins on the way up the mountain, but many had little to no screened areas and we were grateful that ours did. My only suggestions would be a hammock in the screened area (maybe the top balcony), and a lamp right next to the porch table so that we can play cards out there at night. The drive up the mountain was a bit steep (wouldn't try it the first time at night), but nothing my parents' automatic with 4-cylinder engine couldn't handle, and everything is paved. I got a good run in on the loop through this mountain community, and my whole family walked it. We spent one day hanging out in Blue Ridge checking out the shops and restaurants, another just relaxing in the cabin, and another checking out the Ocoee Whitewater center (about a 45-min drive) where the kids were able to swim in the river and my parents were able to stroll the paved paths. Overall, a great long weekend!

DREAM HOUSE IN A DREAM LOCATION!

                      5 of 5
We came on our honeymoon and loved the house and the property. We literally are already looking at the calendar to see when we can come back. The high glass windows everywhere and the great interior design set this house apart from every other house/cabin in the area. The attention to detail with "how to" notes everywhere was amazing. When we decided that a cabin would be our honeymoon we specifically looked for a cabin that had modern amenities/features and Rivermac nailed it! We literally were blown away when we walked in it was so beautiful. We can't wait to come back and would highly suggest this cabin to any person, couple, or family!
