A trip of a lifetime!

5 of 5
My husband and I along with 4 couples had the pleasure of staying at the Grey Heron this past weekend. The house exceeded all of our expectations. We enjoyed it immensely. The online pictures are a mirror of what the house looks like. There were no disappointments. We would definitely stay again!

Secluded, nicely decorated, well labeled switches, good hot tub, lots of parking

5 of 5
Nice, warm inviting cabin, lots of critters on the walls, very clean- we rent cabins in this area every year for 20 plus years and this one was maybe tied for the cleanest we have stayed in. Does not show wear from kids and pets like some cabins we have rented did. Lots of parking, secluded, on a dead end street. Its on a lot of property, secluded river and pond access. Yes, they are a little steep walk up and down, but so are all the waterfalls and other attractions up there. Saw a huge Buck on the walk down to the river. You cannot see another cabin from this one, nor can they see you. This place is super close to the city of Blue Ridge, less than 10 minutes, though you would never know it from the cabin. Good instruction sheets for the cabin in the book, light switches are labeled which I appreciate. Only complaint is it didn't snow at all during our stay...

Perfect

This was a beautiful home on a exquisite piece of property. If you visit the mountains this is the place to go. Spectacular views from the back deck and hot-tub. The atmosphere inside is amazing with a true cabin feel. A must visit.
