The Dreamer's Den cabin is beautifully furnished, and the owners have equipped it with just about everything one might need. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, and the hot tub was ready for us to jump in. The cabin was spacious and much more than we expected (this was our first Homeaway experience). We loved being able to sit on the screened middle and top balconies at any time of day. Having the screens and fans makes the outdoor space much more useable during the summer without having to worry about mosquitoes. We enjoyed morning coffee on the upper balcony while watching the clouds roll through the mountains, the scenic mountain views during the day, and watching the fire flies from the hot tub at night. We noted other nice cabins on the way up the mountain, but many had little to no screened areas and we were grateful that ours did. My only suggestions would be a hammock in the screened area (maybe the top balcony), and a lamp right next to the porch table so that we can play cards out there at night. The drive up the mountain was a bit steep (wouldn't try it the first time at night), but nothing my parents' automatic with 4-cylinder engine couldn't handle, and everything is paved. I got a good run in on the loop through this mountain community, and my whole family walked it. We spent one day hanging out in Blue Ridge checking out the shops and restaurants, another just relaxing in the cabin, and another checking out the Ocoee Whitewater center (about a 45-min drive) where the kids were able to swim in the river and my parents were able to stroll the paved paths. Overall, a great long weekend!
