The New Family Reunion Spot

4 of 5
im responsible for organizing an annual retreat for a 5 family group. We've been doing this for over 10 years and our family has grown to 10 adults and 23 kids from infants to high school seniors. This was our best trip yet and we never left the house!! Finding a space for 24 without feeling like we were on top of each other was tough but we found it. We played our family games, watched football all Saturday, fed our masses and everyone had space to eat. The other thing thats tough about a group our size, is making sure all ages can enjoy the house. Our small kids ran around the deck with the toy vehicles supplied by the homeowners. The adults sat around the fireplace and shaded tables while the teens played pool and ping pong. Plenty of bathrooms for our group so no one had to wait. ALL bedrooms had comfortable space for adult couples (no 5th bedroom twins/bunkbeds for adults). The only reason I cant give this property 5 stars is because there was no hot tub. Otherwise, this is a place to which we plan to keep coming back.

More than a home away from home! Beautiful, spacious and extremely clean!

When choosing a vacation spot for my family, I went on-line and looked at what seemed like a million cabins! But when I saw this cabin, I was head over heels! The cabin is huge; 6 bdrms, 4 ba. The photos did not do it justice. Everyone's mouth was hanging open when we got there! The porches on both levels were fantastic. The closed off portion was great too! You could be outside and see the view without the bugs. The children loved the table tennis and air hockey! We also went hiking and the views are awesome! I am just sorry we only had a three day weekend to enjoy all of the activities. There was swimming, sliding down a waterfall. I can not say enough about how much my family and I enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin! From the time I reserved the cabin until the time we returned home, Kelly, the owner of the cabin, has been very kind and very helpful. My grandson forgot his DS under the bed at the cabin, and needless to say, it was much too far to travel back to get his toy. I called Kelly and told her the situation, and when her housekeeper found it, she mailed it back to me! I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends, relatives, to anyone going on vacation who wants a fabulous place to stay and great things to do! My family gave me 5 stars for picking out this cabin so you know I also have to give Kelly 5 stars! Thank you Kelly for having us and helping us to have a marvelous vacation!!!

We take a trip with 6 other families every year and this year we had the pleasure of staying in "Paradise" and indeed it was. Not just the house which was perfect for 12 adults and 12 children, but also the whole experience with Dwight (the owner). He was very accommodating, answered all our emails and questions promptly and was a pleasure to work with. The house is the best stocked house we have ever stayed in, it wanted for nothing, and the views were breathtaking. We are even thinking about coming back in the fall, the change in colors has to be gorgeous from "Paradise".
