Best Place Ever!

5 of 5
I'm reluctant to write a review, since I'd like to keep this place a secret. Sadly, I think the secret is out. We (6 women) stayed for 2 weeks this September, and we all want to return. The house was fabulous, Uzes was wonderful, and there was so much to see and do in the area. I think we only scratched the surface. Annick was very helpful, as were the neighbours Roberto and Eric. The house and area are highly recommended. I have lived and travelled in France, and this is my favourite part.

L'Olivette/L'ovely!

5 of 5
Have just enjoyed the perfect holiday here at L'Olivette. As a family of four plus our friend and her daughter, we were pleased that the house was bigger and more spacious than the photos led us to believe. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite so was perfect for my friend to have her privacy, and the other two bedrooms were equally suitable for us, plus a very large bathroom. The property is homely, clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The owner was helpful from our initial enquiry onwards, and provided just the right amount of information and top tips for ensuring our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. Was also on-hand via e-mail for any enquiries during our stay. We had a great time around the pool every day. Nearby town of Uzes has many, many restaurants to choose from plus the Saturday morning market which is best visited from 8.00 in the morning before it gets too hot. Pont Du Gard is spectacular, kayaking underneath it is safe and fun and would recommend an evening meal at the restaurant to see the Pont du Gard lit up, plus food was excellent. The amphitheatre at Nimes is amazing and a late afternoon visit on a Thursday, meant that we could then stay to enjoy the evening market plus there was musical entertainment down every street we turned. The party atmosphere was fantastic. A quiet afternoon led us to drive half an hour to Anduze where we went on the steam train ride passing beautiful scenic river and hilltop views, and again a good choice of restaurants for our tea. Had a really memorable stay, would definitely recommend this house and region to our friends. Only been home for one day, and am already missing L'Olivette.

Luxury escape in wine country!

5 of 5
This place is so beautiful! The home has been decorated with the utmost taste and it feels like a home! All amenities are available and we could tell that the owners loved their place: it is charming, welcoming, clean and very well-maintained. The pool was great, perfect for my wife and I who wanted to cool down but did not need the olympic size pool, the kitchen was a high end modern kitchen with everything and more to cook if we wanted. The location is of course, perfect! We were near the sunflower and lavender fields, in the midst of wine country as well as the magical cities we came to visit. In all we loved it and would highly recommend such a great HOME! Thank you again for letting us enjoy!
