Excellent apartment

5 of 5
This apartment is in the perfect location - easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Jacqueline was extremely accommodating and helpful. The apartment is lovely and has everything we could ask for. It's perfect for any balance of sight-seeing and relaxing. We would be delighted to stay there again.

Charming, very Nice

5 of 5
Lovely and Charming home! Very clean and lots of amenities to enjoy and excellent use of space and beds in the home. Comfortably sleeps 2 but can accommodate 4. Would rent again, a little far from city center but nice neighborhood and not to far from Metro and easy to get around Paris. Would come back. The manager of the apartment was very helpful!

Convenient in so many ways

5 of 5
1) Take the Air France (Les Car) shuttle/bus if you can. They only have two stops. The Arch is the 2nd stop. And it seriously drops you off 2 minutes from the apartment. You can also take it back to the airport when you leave. You can buy the ticket straight from the driver the day of departure. 2) the apartment is very secure. You need an electronic key to enter the building. You will need to use it twice before you even get to the actual apartment. The area is very safe. We walked around at night many nights. 3) the apartment is very cozy. Leo showed us where everything was inside the apartment and how everything worked. He also let us know where we could load up on provisions - a very quaint row of shoppes a few minutes walk, that sold everything from fresh bread to seafood. I highly recommend stocking up. Our first day there, we loaded up on coffee (fresh ground at the coffee beanery), baguettes, cheeses, fresh fruit and of course wine. The proprietor of the wine shop was very helpful. In fact, everyone was very pleasant and they all spoke some English. We even picked up some flowers to give it that homey feeling. (Leo: one suggestion - a vase?) I used a coffee mug. It was great to wake up to fresh coffee every morning as we got ready before we walked across the street to the boulangerie for espresso and a chocolate croissant. It was equally enjoyable to come back to the apartment to a nice glass of wine while we relaxed and got ready for dinner. 4) The subway station was also a 2 minute walk. We used it every day. I recommend just buying a Carnet rather than the day passes. The Carnets come 10 tickets at a time and you can use them whenever you please. No expiration like the passes have. If we needed more, we just bought another set. 5) and for those of you interested in shopping - the champs élysées was only a few blocks walk from the apartment. I took advantage of the Vat tax refund. We loved Paris and our vacation was made that much better because of our lodging. Thank you Leo and Philippe. We would definitely stay here again. One last note: we packed light because we knew we were going to take advantage of the washing machine in the apartment. We did laundry twice and were even able to take clean clothes home. I recommend September. The weather was glorious! Many days, not a cloud in the sky.
