Having read so many extravagantly positive reviews of Alex’s apartment, it is difficult to add to the praise that has already been lavished upon this gorgeous apartment. Everything that has previously been noted is true—and then some: The apartment is in a beautiful, safe, “high-end” neighborhood; nearby shops, markets, cafes, and restaurants offer all the neighborhood services and conveniences you could want without intruding on the quiet sanctuary of the apartment itself; bus routes and metro all within a five-minute walk provide easy, fast access to the entire city; the apartment is fresh and spotless; Alex’s library is amazing and poses stiff competition to the sights of Paris for your time; every amenity, appliance, and supply we thought of was already there—be it paper towels, laundry detergent, or artificial sweetener; the apartment makes you feel like a Parisian, and not like a tourist.
I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention Alex’s wonderful pre-trip helpfulness. Thanks to his patient and thorough responses to our many questions, and the 70 pages of beautifully detailed and organized PDF visitor packets he sent beforehand on the apartment, neighborhood, area restaurants and Paris tourist tips, we felt like good friends before even setting foot in the apartment. And knowing that Alex’s English-speaking property manager was available throughout our stay to help us should the need arise—it didn’t—gave us a great feeling of comfort and security. I can’t speak highly enough of this apartment or our delight from our first inquiry to the immediate receipt of our full security deposit within days of returning home. If I could give this review 10 stars, I would!
