This apartment is everything the pictures show it to be - and may actually be better. It is huge, and our family of four had lots of room to spread out. The upstairs veranda is fantastic and was where we spent many of our afternoons relaxing. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the furniture was really nice - you can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in his beautiful apartment.
Being on the ramparts up to the castle was interesting, but if you have any mobility issues the walk up to the apartment door may be difficult. I kind of enjoyed the steep walk as it helped burn off all of the wine and cheese we consumed. :) The apartment is worth the 30 seconds of uphill climb!
Both the owner, Jeffrey, and the contact, Dennis, were very nice and easy to stay in contact with. The only thing missing was an information sheet about what they would like you to do before check-out... I felt badly that we were supposed to remove all of the garbage; we had no idea and so we hadn't done so. We have rented many apartments and some say to leave the garbage, some say to remove it. A short sheet with requirements would be helpful to avoid any confusion from the renter, and annoyance from the owner. (Note - Dennis was very nice about the misunderstanding although I know it caused him a bit of stress.)
This is a great location for day trips and we thoroughly enjoyed Nimes, Arles, Avignon, and the Pont du Gard. There is a lot of history in this location, and this is a great apartment to come back to after exploring.
