Tucked away in a shady side street in the quiet and characterful Faubourg area of town, Fisherman's House proved a convenient, comfortable and stylish retreat for our week long holiday in Collioure. During an early summer heat wave we were also grateful for its cool interior, courtesy of modern fans and original shutters. Some might miss a more expansive view from the property but with one of the most picturesque vistas along this coast just a minute's walk away it would be churlish to complain! With all necessary beach equipment provided, nipping to and from the nearby beach couldn't have been easier. Showers in both modern bathrooms were good and a well equipped kitchen and nearby stores made dining in very convenient. That said, Collioure's many restaurants were too tempting for us! Communication with the owner was very prompt, pleasant and helpful throughout. All in all, a lovely, easy and relaxing place to stay - highly recommended!
