We really enjoyed our 8 week stay at this flat. It is convenient for shopping, short walks (10 minutes) to Place Garibaldi and the Port, tram/bus and Gare Riquier. The apartment is full of light and spacious, nicely appointed; the beds are comfortable; everything is clean and in good condition; the appliances are very up-to-date; it is on the 4th floor (elevator), and so very quiet. One balcony has a view of the mountains, the other a quaint view of "Castle Hill" and the Colline du Château cemetery (and on some days, a square inch of ocean blue). The manager Anne is very friendly and helpful. If you want to avoid the hypermarché located at the base of the building (Carrefour), there are two great little bakeries on Rue Arson north from Delfino (especially baguettes at the baker on Rue Arson just up from Café "Le Sept 11," but hours are inconvenient; pastries at Cappo & Serrain farther north), and a great little grocery there, too (Chez Jeannine); and Bio Koop a couple of blocks away on Delfino; the produce stand on Delfino/République is good and friendly. A park is very close by for kids, but be sure to walk 20 minutes east to Castel des Deux Rois for a really good park (if you're not up for the 40 minute hike up Castle Hill).
