              A MONTH IN PARIS

              5 of 5
It’s wet and cold for May, and the garden appreciates the weather. For me I’m dry and warm inside this (the best place I have ever rented in Paris) home. The luxury of having a jardin in this city within walking of Etoile is extraordinary. It is where we live when weather permits. The spacious master bath is beautifully tiled and even though an inside room, filled with light. Although the photos show more TVs than there are. There is only one in the Master bedroom. The Media room is exclusively for DVDs, with a generous supply (mostly in French) next to the set, and the sound system is excellent. The Internet has been off and on in the back rooms (Master/family) but it has always worked in the living room and bedroom up stairs. The elevator is complicated and not actually in the house. But can be accessed through a shared hall which serves the top 2 floors. We have used it for carrying luggage up to the bedrooms exclusively. We are in Paris during the FRENCH Open and the City is crowded but not so much in this exclusive residential area. The house is in a gated cul de sac shared with about 12 other gracious residences including the Hungarian Embassy. The house is approximately 6 blocks from the supermarket, but there is a shopping trolley which makes it doable. Arlett, the owner does not live in the house, but it is filled with her most beautiful furniture and paintings. When we arrived, she had the table set for 6 with fresh flowers and macaroons. She is a delight.
