French chic on the Champs Elysees

4 of 5
Arriving after a long drive, we parked right outside the apartment to offload our luggage and were immediately impressed by its location, right in the middle of the bustling, high end shopping strip of the Avenue Champs Elysees. The apartment was very bijoux, a small gem of French chic, elegantly decorated and with a well equipped kitchenette. We were met by a delightful young lady who took time to familiarise us with the features of the apartment: tv; phone; wifi; etc. and then told us she would be in the vicinity for the next hour or so should we need any further help. The location was very central for walking to most places of interest, with a metro station nearby for quick transport to those a little further afield. The very comfortable double bed thoroughly filled the bedroom and the only hanging space was in a small cupboard in the lounge room, so it would be recommended to travel light to avoid juggling with luggage, but for two people it was a lovely space to spend a Parisian holiday as a hotel alternative. We were travelling with three adults and there was a pull out couch in the lounge room for the third person. Ok for a short stay like ours, but could get a little awkward in a long stay situation. Overall, the apartment suited our needs perfectly and its ambience and location were ideal.

Magnifique!

5 of 5
This flat is lovely. The location is perfect and we were able to walk to many major attractions ...including the Eiffel Tower which we could see from the balcony! The apartment is modern and beds very comfortable. We travel quite a bit and are picky but everyone in our party of 6 was very pleased. The bunk room is a plus and allowed one of my older son's college friends to stay for a night and have a bed. There are grocery stores, restaurants, and a next door wine shop! The flat is down the street from the new , extremely expensive Peninsula Hotel which speaks to the quality of the neighborhood. The flat was very clean and manager friendly. Furthermore, cobblestone rental company was extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend this apartment ! I hope we can return to visit and would rent it again in a heartbeat!

Excellent place to stay in Paris

5 of 5
My wife and I have just returned from a two and a half week stay in this apartment, and we were delighted with the location as well as the property. This recently renovated place has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The owner greeted us as promised to show us everything we needed to know, and we were happy to find a well lit, clean and large place at our disposal. The street market of rue Poncelet is close by for great food shopping, the Etoile and George V metro stops are a few steps away, and there are many brasseries and restaurants on the avenues. The basement parking was well worth renting for a fair fee and, even though most of the paintings shown on site photo were missing as well as the sofa and one of the armchairs, we did not really miss them at all as the apartment is very well furnished and stocked with all you need. Be prepared to buy a renter's insurance at the owner's condition for rental. We are considering returning next year and we will recommend this place to our friends and family.
