Highly recommended - great location and apartment

5 of 5
This apartment has a lot going for it. It is clean, updated, and above all, in a fabulous location. I traveled with my in-laws, husband and 2 year old. The neighborhood felt extremely safe, even walking at night. It is a 5 minute walk to two different metro line stops. There are multiple cafes around and grocers although not as many as we noticed in other areas of the city. The views of the Eiffel Tower were a bonus. It was wonderful to see it sparkle at night. The Eiffel Tower is about a 20-25 minute walk. The apartment itself was spacious and has the rare benefit of two bathrooms attached to each bedroom (although one bedroom the water closet is separate in the hallway). From all our searching, multiple bathrooms were not common in this price range. The bedrooms are all a large size with very comfortable beds and ample storage. One nice surprise was sun blocking mechanical shades that you can control from the bedside. With jet lag and a toddler needing a nap, it was an amazing way to darken the room. The kitchen definitely has all you need - stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer combo; even a Nespresso machine which the apartment supplied espresso for. The manager of the apartment, Fabrice, was very helpful and quick to reply to any questions. The management company supplied a very large portable crib for my toddler as well. Only thing that I would say is the elevator is VERY small, our group had to go up in multiple loads. On the other hand, it is very nice to have an elevator at all! You will not be disappointed with this apartment!

Wonderful

I was reluctant to write this review for fear our apartment would already be booked every time we wanted to rent it in the future. But, I owe it to the owners and David to let others know about this little gem. This will be our apartment whenever we are in Paris from now on, period, end of story. Special mention to David, who was so hospitable, understanding and helpful. The apartment was clean with lots of room and storage space and the furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was fantastic and I would be remiss if I didn't mention the shower which was so roomy, so unlike most showers in Paris apartments. But, obviously the true selling point is the location. It truly doesn't get any better than this. We walked to Rue Cler every morning and bought fresh fruit (the best raspberries I've had in decades). There are two grocery stores along with many restaurants, wine, bread and pastry shops right on the block! But, when we shut the door from the street and walked through the two courtyards with lovely flowers blooming, all sounds of the city were gone and a single songbird welcomed us home. It was amazing. When you walk out onto the street, turn left and you're a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower, turn right and there is the Grand and Petite Palais across the bridge. Keep walking and before you know it, you're on the Champs Elysees. We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to get back to our favorite city in the world, especially now that we have 'our place'.

Wonderful!

5 of 5
Our experience with this property exceeded our expectations! Well set out apartment allowing some privacy for ourselves and our adult children, typical small Parisian kitchen although after some shopping in the nearby Rue Cler was ample enough to prepare a couple of meals, large bedrooms and living area. The most stunning was the ability to look out the window at the Eiffel tower during the day and the nightly light show. The property managers were great - clear communication, adaptable, customer friendly and very patient when we were lost! Met onsite for a walk through to ensure we were comfortable. Only tip - get clear address details to avoid confusion with cab drivers. Close to everything.
