We normally stay in 2-3 star hotels or B&Bs and had grown used to the small spaces. This time we decided to try an apartment since we were traveling with family and didn’t want to worry about figuring out what time we needed to meet in the lobby each morning or evening to talk…we could just chat in the apartment. Philippe and Leo’s apartment was just what we needed! 5 adults shared two bedrooms, two showers and one toilet. We were gone all day, but had enough room to have breakfast in the mornings before we left and enjoy some wine while planning out the next day when we got back in the evenings. The bedrooms and showers were larger than what we were used to, so it was nice to be able to move around. There are portable A/C units in the bedrooms, which we only needed to run at night. There’s a small fridge where you can store breakfast and picnic items. There are cooking supplies there, but we never used them – opting instead to enjoy dinners out. There’s a stackable washer and dryer, which we utilized before heading to our next destination. The building is secure and quiet, located only a short walk from buses or the metro. AND, it’s only a two-block walk to the Eiffel, so we walked by there often. This apartment is wonderful! Book early, for I fear that now that this secret place is out, it will fill up fast.
