Wonderful location and service

5 of 5
Stayed for 5 nights in Sept 2014 and enjoyed the apartment very much. The location is ideal and the neighborhood is perfect. Grocery store 3 blocks away, easy walk to Luxembourg Gardens, E. Tower, Notre Dame, etc. Two metro stops within a 5 block radius makes for easy traveling around Paris. Apartment details: Kitchen is small but effecient and modern with nice size fridge. We did not cook - you're in Paris. Bathrooms are modern and large plus the 1/2 bath is a great feature. Elevator is as expected in Paris "tiny and akward", holds two people and getting luggage up and out is a chore. We found this to be true of other hotels we stayed in so you just deal with it. Spaciouis living room and dining room for hanging out, eating breakfast, drinking wine, and relaxing after a long day of site seeing. Oh - The Bon Marche is two blocks away and probably the best department/grocery store in the world. Check it out on your first day and get fancy provisions, wine, cheese, bread, pastries, etc. If you are in need two or three rooms it beats a hotel hands down. The folks at Elite Destinations and their peope on the ground (Welldone) were really helpful as a local resource. They made 3 resturant reservations that I had researched. They also provided excellent airport transportation for our early 6:00 arrival into CDG. We used their transportation, gentleman was waiting with a sign outside baggage claim in clean comfortable van with water. We were 5 people with luggage and he knew exactly where we were going so no need to provide address. Price was better than any other transportation I looked into. We also used them on our last day to the train station, on time and very reliable. They are at your service if you want to do any other excursions and reasonable. No one was renting prior to our arrival so we were allowed to check in by 8 am. This feature is huge after a long overnight flight. At arrival Cesar was there to greet us, help us with our bags and go over the apartment detials. Great guy. Two additional nice features: there is a Mac PC so you could access good high speed internet and a free landline phone so you can call anywhere including the US. Overall, this property is wonderful and the folks at Elite/Welldone did a great job, your not going to get this level of service and support to often and it makes the trip planning easy, managable, with a high degree of certianty. Nothing is cheap in Paris but the experience they provide is a value.

The Perfect Apartment in Paris

5 of 5
This is the perfect apartment for two travelers in Paris. The location (center of Paris) and view -- looking out at St. Sulpice church and square from one of the four windows and a short walk to Luxemburg garden (nice, safe neighborhood) -- is superb. The owners and managers of the rental are the kindest and most considerate people I have ever met. They have gone over the top in providing many amenities such as blow-dryer, iron, TV, radio, CD player, free international calls phone, coffee maker (Nespresso, easy and delicious coffee), etc. They also live downstairs so if you need some help with something they are right there and more than willing to be of assistance (Claude printed our boarding passes for our return flight saving us from airport check-in). Of note: They make it clear that they will not bother you during your stay unless you call on them first. Other notes: The elevator is very welcome after a long day of walking and hiking up and down Metro stairs. The combination washer/dryer is effective but just a few tips if you stay here: Don't use a lot of soap, wash on "mixed" and dry on "delicate" with the dryness setting set on the picture of the iron. Your clothes will be slightly damp (dry in about 20 minutes) but it only takes one and a half hours as opposed to the three and a half hours on the regular setting which causes impossible wrinkles on cotton clothes. The only slightly negative thing I could say about the entire apartment and our stay is that the bed needs a new mattress (slightly deformed in the middle). However, despite the slight deformity it is still very comfortable and my wife and I slept very well on it. I would heartily recommend this apartment to anyone considering a stay in Paris. My wife and I are already planning on coming back and staying in this apartment (if it is available). Book way ahead as this is, understandably, one of the most desirable apartments in Paris.

The property was amazing as is the location.

The apt. Is modern and well kept. Loved the location which is away from most of the tourist traffic. Modern kitchen allowed us to cook many of our own dinners. Luxembourg Gardens is right out the door and a great retreat.
