                        LOVELY APARTMENT IN GREAT LOCATION

                        4 of 5
Would have given it 4.5 stars but I couldn't make it do a half star! Apartment was very clean and well appointed with (almost) everything one would need. I am an amateur chef and love to cook while in Paris from the abundance of great seafood and produce. The kitchen was great and even had good knives (I always bring my own and didn't need them here). But I do like to make sauces and the kitchen needs a fine mesh strainer or chinois for this. I had to improvise. No big deal but that would be a great addition to the kitchen for the cooks. The coffee machine is also not a Nespresso as stated in the description. It was a Krups. Big difference. Again, no big deal, but was expecting a Nespresso. I have one at home and they are great for a quick coffee/espresso. The location was excellent, it is very centrally located, and we love the neighborhood. The terrace was awesome for coffee or wine and snacks or just a bit of people watching. We usually stay in the 6th or 7th and felt we had to take the Metro much less from this location. On future trips we would definitely stay here again. Aurelien was very nice, answered emails quickly, and was waiting for us upon our arrival. We really did not have any problems, so we did not need to contact him during our stay for anything, although I suspect he would be very responsive. We are not new to Paris and know our way around. However, if you were a first time visitor there was not much in the apartment to help. In other apartments where we have stayed there was always a big binder with restaurant and shopping suggestions, tips for the Metro, and directions to nearby places, etc. Was very helpful. There were guide books but that "local" knowledge is priceless. That would be another great addition to the apartment. We stayed in May and the weather was fairly cool. I am not sure what it would be like in the summer months as I don't think there was an AC. Also bring a couple of converter/adapters for electronics as there were none provided. WiFi worked great the whole time. Overall, a great stay! Thanks Aurelien!

PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY OF FOUR!

                        4 of 5
We stayed in this apartment for one week. It was perfect for a family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers). We were able to spread out and have our own space which is important when traveling with teens. The location was very central in the Latin Quarter which was a real treat. The fact that there is a market just below us is not to be missed. We ate in the apartment often and appreciated the proximity of the store...and all of the other stores, cafes, etc. around. It is pretty noisy in the early morning on Blvd. St. Germain but the back room was not so bad for quiet. We just attributed the noise to "city living". One thing to note is that there is no shower, only a bathtub, which could be slippery for less able people. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a feel for a central city apartment - who doesn't need top shelf luxury but wants good solid practicality. We certainly would stay there again.
