Booked this little apartment for our first trip outside the States in 7 years. Anniversary celebration and vacation. The apartment is very cute and has just what you need as a home base from which to explore Paris.
The bathroom has a washer and dryer which was a godsend. We walked all over Paris and it was great to be able to wash clothes. The dryer does not work that great but washing is the most important.
Another great attribute is the coffeemaker in the apartment. I am a coffee addict and the cafes can get expensive if you are like me and wanting a coffee to keep you going as you roam Paris from top to bottom.
A few houses away is from the apartment is a friendlyt neighborhood bakery which is great for a morning croissant and cafe.
The Sacre Couer is about a 15 minute walk away. We started our trip by walking up the hill to Sacre Couer and then descending down into the valley of the city.
The Abssesses Metro stop is a fairy tale metro stop one stop away from the one for this apartment. It has a carousel and a giant candy stand when you walk out. It is something out of a movie and not to be missed.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The metro is a five-minute walk away. Restaurants and cafes are also about 5 minutes away.
I would recommend Soul Kitchen as a great little coffee/breakfast stop which is close by.
Thanks to Stephanie for renting this lovely spot from which to explore Paris -- the most beautiful and romantic city in the world.
