Attention to Detail Makes a Trip a Success!

5 of 5
Our family of four recently returned from a two week stay in this apartment and our experience was nothing short of wonderful thanks to the owner’s attention to every detail. Upon our return home, our teen aged daughters declared our visit “the best vacation ever!” This apartment is located in one of the most beautiful arrondissements of Paris and there is plenty to explore even within walking distance of the apartment. Within a few minutes, strolling along safe streets with historic buildings, you can be at a famous museum (Musée Marmottan), a top restaurant or a high end department store (Franck et Fils). The information that we were provided by the owner prior to our visit (in terms of metro, bus, grocery stores, markets, museums, shopping, restaurants etc) allowed us to begin our holiday immediately without having to waste precious vacation time “figuring things out”. Our family has stayed in many different types of first rate accommodations over the years and a holiday often begins with writing a list of supplies that need to be bought right away. In this apartment, there is not one thing that you will be missing! The attention to detail is spectacular! The kitchen is clean, easy to figure out and totally stocked with the basics. There is plenty of storage space (even travelling with two teen aged daughters!) and all baggage can be put away so you can enjoy the beautiful art deco design of this apartment. From the master bedroom window, you will look onto beautiful balconies with red geraniums while you smell the fresh baguettes and croissants baking in the boulangerie nearby. While staying in this apartment, we did not feel like “travelers” and always felt refreshed in the morning since the owner made sure that all the comforts of home would be provided. Lots of towels, cleverly designed shower, great coffee machine, beautiful and comfortable furniture, plenty of dishes, cooking tools and Wifi! On our flight back, the response from one of my daughters to my question of whether she would like to return to this apartment was “ I don’t want to leave this apartment!”. From a family who is known to be very picky about their places to stay, there is no better way to experience Paris!

Loved this sweet studio in awesome neighborhood.

My 13 year old daughter and I stayed here for 9 nights in July. It was perfect. We had been at another place for 4 nights on east side of Paris, that was not nearly as nice. The studio has every amenity you need. It is small but perfect for visiting Paris. There is a Health food store at end of one street. There is recycling. It us very safe. Walk to 2 metro stations and many restaurants, bigger grocery store, banks, and my favorite - the bois de bologne park. Fantastic. I had a hard time choosing a place we could afford. Great value for the money. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Damien for going above and beyond in everything. Your a true gracious host. Hope you come to visit our property in North Carolina! Merci beaucoups!

Absolutely, without a doubt, the best!

Excellent property! Exactly as photographed. Location could not be better, in our opinion. The owner was on site as we arrived to give information, assistance, and needed instructions. Communication ahead of stay was great. We have already recommended the property to friends and family. This is a lovely property, and we urge you to live gently and respectfully in it while there. With the Paris Pass we enjoyed activities like the one hour guided tour of the Seine, which we likely would not have purchased separately. And, the Big Bus for 24 hours of hop on, hop off. There are many restaurants in the area...we had French the first night on Marceau (duck confit - Yum!), mid-way to the Champs Elyse, sushi the second night also on Marceau, and Lebanese next to the apartment on New York another night. While the Paris Pass says allocate a couple of hours to see the vast collection of the Louvre, one could not possibly do so in less than 2 days or more. But, we allocated most of an afternoon, and felt like we got a "feel" of the museum. We were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, also the Champs Elyse. Paris is a walkable, people-friendly city. This property is a wonderful place from which to truly enjoy your Paris experience.
