Our family of five recently stayed in Boyd's apartment for a three night stay in Paris. Everything about the process was excellent. Our questions were answered promptly before arriving. The detailed directions to the apartment were accurate and useful. We were met off the bus and given the tour of the building and apartment, which was very helpful. Any questions we had during our stay were answered without any delay. And, after our stay, our security deposit was returned quickly.
Now to the apartment ... it is incredible value for Paris. We are a family of five, so we would have had to squeeze into two cramped hotel rooms at considerable cost. Instead, at Boyd's apartment, we had tons of space. The apartment is larger than it appears from the photos -- two bedrooms, two big bathrooms, kitchen with eat-in area, living/dining room, balcony. We were spread out and had plenty of space. We had two people in each of the bedrooms, and our youngest son slept on the sofa in the living room, which worked out very well. We were concerned that our son would balk at the sofa, but when he saw the set-up he insisted on sleeping there.
A lot of reviews have talked about the desirable location, but a few notes to emphasize. One, the grocery store on the first floor of the building is very convenient, and we used it every day. Two, the metro stop is close and convenient. And three, the park nearby the apartment (with the hot-air balloon ride) is well worth visiting for a peaceful evening after a day of touring the city.
Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience. I would definitely stay at the apartment again, and I recommend it enthusiastically. Thanks to Boyd for everything to make the trip a success.
