Clean, Comfortable, Convenient!

5 of 5
I stayed in this home with two friends (our ages are 25, 25, and 29). We were welcomed by Amelia, who told us how everything in the house worked, and showed us a book of brochers for restaurants. The home looked and smelled very clean. We were delighted to see that there was a chest full of board games, and also 6 or 7 bikes. There was a queen sized bed, a futon, and an air mattress. The kitchen was quaint and had all of our cooking needs. The home is located right off of US 1, which is the main road to get anywhere in the Keys. We swam with dolphins at Dolphin Cove, and snorkeled with Quiescence (who took us by boat to some reefs in John Pennekamp Park). Both of these places were just five minutes up the road. We also took a bike ride, and played board games and cooked on the days we wanted to relax. Roy called us to check in on how we were doing, and gave us many suggestions for where to eat out, and which places to avoid. We chose to drive to Key West one day, and returned to the cottage that night. (that's all the time we really needed in Key West, and we avoided staying in an overpriced hotel). Key largo is great for snorkeling and has many beautiful fish on its reefs (you really need to try snorkleing if you come here!), and if you want to go to more of “picture pretty” beach, you can drive down to Annes Beach or Key West. Roy always returned my calls and emails promptly which made me feel comfortable. All in all we had a great stay!

Vacation of a Lifetime!!!

5 of 5
We had a WONDERFUL time in Islamorada and your home is FABULOUS!!! We planned this trip, 6/7/14-6/14/14, to celebrate our 20 year Wedding Anniversary with our 14 year old twin girls. We live in Lexington, SC and drove down, which was not a bad ride. The house was easy to find and your instructions from start to finish were spot on! Your home is extremely comfortable and clean and the views are amazing! The first thing we did was rent 2 Paddle Boards for the week from Cowboy Outfitters, per your recommendation. They were most helpful. We used them every day. We caught several fish, all of which I can not name. The most exciting part of our trip was our Offshore Fishing Charter with Captain Jim! We left Key Largo Fisheries, where he is docked at 7:00am. By 10:30am, we had caught the limit of 50 Mahi Mahi! We also managed to catch 2 large Bull Dolphin and a Baracuda! What an amazing time we had! Needless to say, we have a freezer FULL of fish at home! We are currently working on our next trip out with Captain Jim. Thanks for recommending him! Now, for the food….Here are our top 3: The Green Turtle-Mahi Reuben and you must try the breakfast, especially the shrimp & grits The Island Grill-Tuna Nachos-outstanding! Backyard Grill at Key Largo Fisheries-Lobster BLT-Awesome! Every day, we explored the island and met some amazing people. It had been 9 years since we were in the keys, and we will not be waiting so long next time! I am hoping to book again with you for next year, as we would not stay anywhere else! Thank you for sharing your home with us! The Corley’s, Lexington, SC

Great Condo, Great Owner, and Great Fun in Key Largo!

5 of 5
We had a fantastic time in this condo the week of April 26th through May 3rd, 2014. The condo was great! It was clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Key Largo. It should be noted that there was construction going on at the Tower, but it did not get in the way of our enjoyment in the slightest. We spent a good bit of time at the Oasis Pool, and we enjoyed several evenings relaxing at the end of the jetty, enjoying the breeze. KYC is walking distance to the Pilot House Marina, which has a cool restaurant and bar (try the painkillers!). We decided to rent a golf cart which was delivered to the Tower, and this allowed us to motor about on the Ocean Side of the Overseas Highway (more fun than driving a car). Our toddler loved our drives in the golf cart up to the Aquatic Center where he could play in the small water park. All-in-all, our trip couldn't have gone better. The Owners were great, and were responsive to any questions/requests we had and everything was as advertised.
