The house is very nice, well-maintained, and in a quiet neighborhood. It presents well upon entry, in fact almost looks like a model home. The pool was heated just as we asked and was swim-ready from the very first day. The hot-tub, connected to the pool, heated up quickly and worked flawlessly. We were in the pool everyday, in the evening, and it was a great way to relax.
Initial entry was easy; a code was provided for the front door and the access system worked perfectly for the entire stay. The house was clean, there were no issues on that account. There were numerous beach/pool towels in the closets and the beds were comfortable. The couches and chairs were also comfortable.
The location is convenient for grocery shopping and other day-to-day shopping; 2 Publix, a Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, gas stations, restaurants, all within 3 miles - but it's about 40 minutes from the airport and Universal Studios, closer to Disney.
Why wasn't it 5 Star? As I said, it's the little things. This the first house we've rented that had completely empty cupboards (other then dishes, of course). There were no spices, no coffee, no dish soap, no laundry detergent, etc. Maybe we're spoiled, but we are used to finding some basic supplies. The kitchen appears to be well-stocked for cooking, until you look a little deeper. Some essential equipment is missing - there are no measuring cups, no rolling pin, and most important, no cutting board. You know this even before you look for one because the counter-tops clearly show knife scars (we went and purchased a cheap board, but it was obvious that not everyone took such an action).
The house comes equipped with a single roll of bathroom tissue per bathroom. It shouldn't be your first thought on vacation that you have to go re-supply the bathrooms before you do anything else; one back-up roll per bathroom would have been great. The same for trash bags; the kitchen trash can has a single bag, with no replacements.
Finally, we learned that FIOS is not a cable provider that we would ever consider using. However, the TV in the living room is a Samsung Smart TV and allowed access to Netflix, Hulu, and all of the other web-based services, so that worked out nicely.
The owner was extremely responsive during the reservation, booking, and payment process and communicated quickly and professionally. I would recommend this house to family and friends.
