Great Home Away From Home

4 of 5
My three sisters-in-law and I loved this condo. The corner unit facing the marina and ocean provided constant entertainment with the boats coming in at the end of the day with their full catch of fish and the birds vying for the scraps from cleaning them. Due to the scheduled maintenance painting of the building we moved to another unit for our last two nights and were sorry to leave our "home". The other unit was more like an average hotel while ours was like home.

Great Keys for couples and small families!

5 of 5
Great location in fun area? The little beach area, which you look out on from the unit, is both scenic and provides a great way to enjoy the sun and saltwater. (Be sure to try the sea kayaking available on site!.) The condo development's large pool area, along with bar and grill, was another nice area to spend time working on a good book or a tan. We'd never visited Key Largo before and found it a great location to explore the Keys. Staying here meant for easy day trip to Key West (going south on US 1) and then also an easy day trip to Everglades (going north on US 1). Tip: The highlight of our stay was visiting the Everglades! Don't miss that opportunity. Closer to "home," Key Largo, Tavernier, and Islamorada provided lots of fun activities. Sailing, jet skiing, coral reef visits, etc. For what it's worth, our favorite eating spots were Chads, Mile Marker 88, M.E.A.T eatery and taproom and Keybites. (These are all just a few miles or less away from unit.)

Pristine Clean, Great Location

5 of 5
After a walk down the usual condo hallway embraced by some lovely landscaping and impressively mature treescapes, came a lovely surprise. One pristine clean (clean smelling too!) 2 br unit complete with a jacuzzi tub - nice and deep, as well as a lovely two seated walk-in shower - easy to use for those who are older. The views were breathtaking if you love nature, this is a great place to stay. A DEAL for the money spent as it is a terrific starting point for driving to either Key West or all the way in the opposite direction to South Beach. And, hmm, the "Kid's " bedroom is situated perfectly - just the right distance down the hall past the kitchen - AND they have their own bath, so mom and dad get some privacy for a change. They can put on their suits and head to the pool in a flash. It's a two minute walk at most. Good location. Goodness, the w/d was a welcome extra as was the dishwasher. Key West is not noted for terrific sandy beaches because of all of the mangroves and protected environments. However, you can drive to some great beaches and thoroughly enjoy the Key's lush natural amenities....see the bird sanctuary, swim with the dolphins, snorkle, sit, kayak, tan, boat, sunset cruise......Bahia Honda Park, matacumbe fish at "The Fish House " only two mins away......delicious fresh seafood of high quality, Anne's beach, Theatre of the Sea takes only 1/2 day, airboat on the everglades, This spot is close to EVERYTHING YOU NEED. We love the ease and attention that Fernando gave us in renting this place. He was available and polite every email. Such a deal! Plus the gated entrance keeps moms and daughters feeling safer. Although it is not "security" it sure does help. Feel free to spend more money at a hotel with half the amenities. Now keep it open...Fernando...for when I want to return, ok? LOL and thanks again
