A Slice of Heaven

5 of 5
We recently stayed here and what can I say, it was amazing. The beach house was clean and well maintained. In the mornings, I loved to walk out on the balcony with a cup of coffee and listen to the waves crashing on the beach; that has to be the best way to start my day. Being able to walk out the backdoor and be on the beach is absolutely wonderful. One of the features of this house that I think has been overlooked in many of the reviews I have read is the fact that there is an ice maker in the wet bar. Every morning, we were able to fill our cooler with ice and then walk right out to the beach. It was my favorite features of the house. With kids running around, it was very helpful to have 3 bathrooms too. I grilled hamburgers and hotdogs on the patio while listening to the ocean which was awesome. The patio area is very large and works well as a family entertainment area or just a place to sit back and relax. The house is located within walking distance to grocery shopping, restaurants and local attractions. The owner was very responsive to my questions and even gave us some great recommendations on where to eat. On the owner's recommendation, we tried Thomas Donuts one morning and the kids absolutely loved them. The Russell-Fields Pier is nearby and provides not only fishing, but some great views of the beach and the wildlife in the water. We rented a boat at Adventures by Sea and took it to Shell Island where we found hundreds of sand dollars while snorkeling. If you are looking for a great place to go and relax with family, then this is going to fit the bill. I am hoping to be able to go back next year.
