Very comfortable cottage, perfect for our family

5 of 5
My children and I rented the cottage for almost 2 months. We have relocated to St. Petersburg and needed a place to call home until we closed on the house we were purchasing. The main house on the property was rented and not available when we arrived, so we rented the cottage. It was perfect for us. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The décor is very beachy, very tastefully done in blues and creams. There is a large library of DVDs, puzzles, games for the kids. The front yard is fenced, which was perfect for our little dog. I could let her out without worry of her getting away. The location could not have been more perfect. We were less than 10 minutes from the beaches, less than 10 minutes from downtown St Petersburg, walking distance to Boyd Hill park, minutes from the on ramp to I 275. Helen is a wonderful host. She provided everything we could possibly need. From the moment we arrived, Helen made us feel welcome and let us know that she was there for us should we need anything at all. By the time we left, I felt we had known her for years! Thank you Helen for allowing us to stay in your cottage, and then the main house. We would not hesitate to stay there again and will happily recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay while in St. Pete.

Best summer ever!,

The cottage was even better than described in the listing. Perfect size, immaculate and included all the amenities of home. Great courtyard that my small dog had a ball exploring. The front porch is perfect morning, noon or night. Wonderful neighborhood for walking to town, the water, tennis courts, dog park or anything you need. Since I leased the cottage for a long period, I got to know the owners, Jennifer and Brian. We all seemed to have a lot in common and hit it off well. They know of many fine restaraunts and places to go and had many great recommendations. I can't wait to return in 2015!

Moved to St Pete and had an awesome experience!

I can't say enough good things about Siman (owner), the property and the neighbors! My husband, black lab and I moved to St Pete in early August from Seattle. After 2,500 miles on the road, we were so happy to begin our adventure here while we looked for permanent housing and waited for our furniture to be shipped across the country. The cottage is private, well stocked, modern and has just about everything you could need for a few months. It's located within walking distance of bars, restaurants, museums and downtown. (though it's a hot walk to downtown this time of year :) The technology was great from the cable, to the wifi and even a couple great motion night lights. We love St Pete for it's affordability, walk-ability, art, dog parks, nightlife and easy access to the beautiful beaches. I highly recommend this cottage.
