Great Birthday Trip!

5 of 5
The house was perfect for my birthday trip and you cannot beat the price! The house has everything you need from comfy beds, beach towels, bikes, and all kitchen appliances. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance, but I recommend going a little farther down the beach to visit the resorts...Sirata, Beachcomber, and Grand Plaza hotel all had great pools, bars and food. The owner of the house is very responsive and communicates everything you need to know. I would definitely stay at this house again! Thanks for a great vacation!

LOVED IT!

5 of 5
We were comfortable with 2 adults and 4 children in this St. Petersburg home located in a safe neighborhood. The house was equipped with nearly everything one would need and the grocery store is just a few minutes away for food. LOVED having a propane grill to cook out and really enjoyed the screened in pool and sitting area. I think the interior photos represent the inside of the home very well, so comfortable. There is a newer washer/dryer in the garage and plenty of closet space to make yourself right at home. Claudia was very informative and we didn't have any issues while we stayed at the property. There is a security system at the property, but we didn't use it and had no problems. The 5 minute drive to Treasure Island Beach is scenic and the beach itself was beautiful and not super busy (compared to Clearwater and St. Pete's beach). The sunset in July at Treasure Island was gorgeous and the nightlife was fun (great locals, cabs are reasonable at about $10 each way). There are a ton of shops and ocean activities in Madeira Beach (a 10 minute drive). Tyrone Square Mall is also nearby. We really enjoyed this home away from home and the surrounding area had a lot to offer!

Stayed here for two months and really like it.

This was a very pleasant house rental. The pictures are accurate and it's true: "What you see is what you get." The house is recently renovated and very nice!.The place has a huge fenced-in yard with plenty of room for my dog to wear himself out chasing his ball. The house is just a block away from the Stetson University Law School which has a beautiful campus that neighbors are welcome to stroll. The school even offers biodegradable dog waste bags in case you forget yours. You'll see Stetson Security riding by the house in their golf carts at all hours. Gulfport is a nice little town with its own beach and "downtown" area. Lots of shops and restaurants with outside dining. The City of Gulfport issues "dog dining permits" to bars and restaurants that offer sidewalk, patio, or open-air facilities. (http://gulfportflorida.us/) The house is a short ride to St. Pete Beach and downtown St. Petersburg. There's a Publix, Winn-Dixie, and Walmart Marketplace supermarkets on three corners of an intersection just five minutes away. Helen has a handyman who comes right out to tend to any little problem that might pop up. I liked the place so much, I'm moving to Gulfport just a block and a half away from Helen's Orange Blossom House. I have a chocolate Lab named Maximus. Say "Hi" if you are out walking and see us!
