This was a very pleasant house rental. The pictures are accurate and it's true: "What you see is what you get." The house is recently renovated and very nice!.The place has a huge fenced-in yard with plenty of room for my dog to wear himself out chasing his ball. The house is just a block away from the Stetson University Law School which has a beautiful campus that neighbors are welcome to stroll. The school even offers biodegradable dog waste bags in case you forget yours. You'll see Stetson Security riding by the house in their golf carts at all hours. Gulfport is a nice little town with its own beach and "downtown" area. Lots of shops and restaurants with outside dining. The City of Gulfport issues "dog dining permits" to bars and restaurants that offer sidewalk, patio, or open-air facilities. (http://gulfportflorida.us/) The house is a short ride to St. Pete Beach and downtown St. Petersburg. There's a Publix, Winn-Dixie, and Walmart Marketplace supermarkets on three corners of an intersection just five minutes away. Helen has a handyman who comes right out to tend to any little problem that might pop up.
I liked the place so much, I'm moving to Gulfport just a block and a half away from Helen's Orange Blossom House. I have a chocolate Lab named Maximus. Say "Hi" if you are out walking and see us!
