Clean & convenient bungalow with hightech touches.

5 of 5
This 3 bedroom house is a jewel which met all of our needs. It's located on a quiet shady street, perfect for sleeping and socializing on one of the 3 porches. All 4 beds have very good mattresses fitted with clean and new modern linen. The bathrooms are bright with abundant coordinated linen and great water pressure. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and every imaginable gadget needed to cook gourmet meals. It is so easy to learn how to operate everything because the owners documented all the operating instructions in an illustrated guest handbook. The house is an electronic marvel with adjustable aesthetic lighting above & below counters, inside cupboards, behind crown molding, and outside for security. All switches are labeled. This home is an entertainment treasure. The TV is a state of the art flat-screen with a blue-ray player located in a comfortable media room. The large collection of DVDs could keep a family entertained for months. Classic board games and cards are provided for children, along with books. The location of this house is very close to restaurants and trolley stops. Although the house appears small from the outside, the floorplan has adequate spaces for both group gatherings and individual solitude. The 3 separate outdoor porches would also permit children to be separated from adults in the fenced in yard. The outdoor vegetable garden and live plants are well maintained and adds a nice domestic touch. Lots of dog walkers pass by while you are drinking coffee on the front porch. Parking for 3 cars is within the yard. Feedback about your guest satisfaction is activity sought and obviously acted upon because every imaginable detail is accommodated. Look for the dining tips and site seeing guides documented by the owners and guests. This lodging is worth every penny. We can highly recommend this home. We especially enjoyed these upscale restaurants: Columbia, Caps on the Water, and Henleys. We also liked Athena's Greek Restaurant. In terms of attractions, one only needs to charter a trolley ride for one day. We learned from a resident that the Old Town Trolley gives a more extensive tour with padded seats. Ripley's Believe It or Not is fascinating. It's convenient to park in their lot all day for free if you visit the museum. If you love the beach, cross over the bridge and head for St. Augustine Beach across the street from another good informal restaurant called Salt Life.

Enjoyed our Week at the beach

4 of 5
My family enjoyed this beach house and all the amenities. The Owner has a great eye for detail and had it fully furnished with modern, quality equipment and had thought of anything we could possibly need. I have never rented a house with so many great beach toys available for guests. Most places you have to bring your own. The location is convenient and everything worked, even the WiFi. This is my second time renting this house and my fourth time renting from this Owner. She is top notch and I would highly recommend her to those wishing to vacation in the area!

Cozy, clean, and perfect!

5 of 5
This was my first experience renting a property for vacation through VRBO. We were in town for my daughter's wedding. The home was cheerful and light. I had room to invite extended family over the night before for drinks/snacks then we all walked to the old section of town for a ghost tour. We were able to walk to the Columbia House for the rehearsal dinner also. The lighting and decor allowed my daughter and bridesmaids to have hair and makeup done followed by photography at the home prior to the ceremony. Family members unable to participate in all the walking could sit on the front porch and watch the carriages go by. As the mother of the bride, I could not relax as I would have liked to but we plan to return to the same property in the future without the stress and commotion to enjoy it at a more sedate pace. Also, the owner was prompt and helpful with questions. Highly recommended!
